Despite being born miles apart and with no relation to one another, Aleah Neerhof and Jessye Cook both showed odd behaviours as children that indicated their mad intent to beautify the world - at whatever cost.

From the opposite corners of the world - or two neighbouring counties - Jessye and Aleah trekked to a holy city to observe the teachings of one St. Larry. They promised to push back the darkness and make the world pretty again. After graduating, Jessye felt as though her message could be better spread in some kind of designer holy land. Like many prophets before her, she decided to head East. To her Mecca. Like anyone with a poor sense of direction, she ended up West. In Calgary. This probably worked out better.

Toiling away on project after project, it dawned on her that she could not do this alone. She needed a partner. Aleah, the staunch defender of the aesthetically pleasing immediately came to mind - and was easily convinced that her destiny lay in Calgary. The two came together - as individuals, they were formidable. As a pair, unstoppable!
